INTERVIEW - FIRST MEETING:

 

No fee initial interview and consultation. At this meeting, I welcome all questions! I can also provide clarity on my birth philosophy, scope of practice, support practices, etc.

 

 

UPON HIRING:

 

• Two prenatal visits.  At these meetings we can discuss your expectations, birth preferences, comfort measures, as well as answer any other questions you might have.  If it suits you, we could also work on relaxation and breathing techniques, intention setting and visualization (see Intentful Birth - this can be included in your package free-of-charge).  You also have the option to use one of your prenatal visits for a Shiatsu Massage if it suits your needs.  

 

• Unlimited support throughout your pregnancy (ie. phone, email, text). I want you to feel that you can come to me with any question or concern.

 

• 24/7 on-call labour support beginning at 38 weeks until baby is born

 

• Labour and birth support - this could be at your home, the birth centre, or at the hospital.

 

• Immediate postpartum support for a week after birth (ie. new baby/parent questions, breastfeeding, etc)

 

• One postpartum visit (1-2 weeks postpartum). I understand that this will be a very special time for you and your family. Enjoy these precious moments! I am happy to meet with you anytime within this time period.

 

• Labour and birth photos (optional). I can provide a photos via google drive, USB or disc.

 

• You will also be welcome to a lending library, community resource listings, birthing balls, etc.
