Women's Only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Okotoks)

Women's Only morning classes, 2x weekly for beginner women.  No previous experience required.  

*Please inquire if you have an older teen girl who may join also.

Tuesdays & Thursdays 

9:30 - 11:00am 

As this is a new class, registration for your first month is given at discounted rate at $120.00 for the month.  Beyond your first month, you will be given the choice of membership term: month-to-month, 6 month, or 12 month terms.

About the Coach:

Professor Diana ("professor" meaning "teacher" in Brazilian Portuguese) has been in the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community for 20 years. Over this time, Prof. Diana has taken part in the growth of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Canada and is one of the first female pioneers of BJJ in Western Canada.  She often volunteers her time to teach at community events and in collaborations with other non-profits and charities in YYC, in addition to running her business which she centers around empowerment through various modalities. When she is not running these events, she is regularly teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes and workhops to adults and children at: Satori Wellness Studio and Anderson Goncalves BJJ.  She is also an advocate in the trauma community, passionately advocates for healthy and empowering wellness practices, represents women in a male-dominated sport, and is a proud mother to 2 beautiful boys. Prof. Diana has also competed and successfully won many local and international BJJ competitions.
